VALOR FIREPLACES – WAREHOUSE ORDER PICKER - North Vancouver B.C.

Valor Fireplaces is looking for the right person to join our Warehouse Team. The position would be a full-time position located at our North Vancouver production facility.

Position Type: Full-Time

What is the position?

The position we are looking to fill is in warehouse order picker, receiving and warehousing. The work is physical but there is a lot of variety. The chosen individual will maintain our sound shipping and receiving processes. They will be working alongside the Warehouse Supervisor to learn the products and processes in our warehouse. They will also be working with a team that has been with us for a number of years who will be willing to support and train the new individual.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Daily shipping and receiving stock into designated spots.
  • Weekly scheduled picking and shipping products to our distribution warehouses.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

What you bring:

  • Someone that we can count on to show up regularly and be a true team member.
  • Good attention to detail skills and the ability to call out anything unusual.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medium/heavy duty environment.
  • Current forklift license, preferable with reach truck experience.
  • An individual that will be able to perform a final quality control check.
  • Assist with packaging of products ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.

VALOR FIREPLACES – PARTS DEPARTMENT CLERK - North Vancouver B.C.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Parts Department Clerk. We are located in North Vancouver, B.C. Valor Fireplaces is recognized as a leader in the highest quality Gas Fireplaces in North America. With over 700 dealers our fireplaces find their way into homes and offices in both Canada and the USA. Valor Fireplaces is committed to innovating and growing the market for fireplaces.

What is the position?

The Parts Department Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service by guaranteeing that orders are entered, picked, packed and shipped out accurately and efficiently, and ensuring that inventory coming into the parts department is properly received and accounted for.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive customer experience by meeting the needs of our dealers quickly, professionally, and accurately.
  • Enter parts orders; enter parts orders into SYSPRO, send correct documentation to dealers and other internal departments.
  • Assist customers by answering inquiries about parts, purchase orders, ETAs, and shipping details via phone and email.
  • Work closely with the Technical Department to enter warranty orders.
  • Ship parts orders; pick and pack parts orders for our dealers, prepare courier waybills and schedule pick-ups.
  • Assemble various kits and build small assemblies as needed.
  • Receive incoming parts shipments from suppliers.
  • Replenish parts inventory by picking transfers from raw materials warehouse, and preparing transfers to our US parts department.
  • Manage dealer returns; issue, receive and approve goods returned from dealers.
  • Assist with annual inventory counts.
  • Ensure day to day cleanliness of the parts department.
  • Other tasks assigned by Parts Supervisor.

What you bring:

  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and good time management.
  • Great communications skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 75lbs as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is an asset.

*Please Note: Steel-toed shoes are required for this position. An allowance is provided after 3-month probation.
