Manual Mode

Manually decrease or increase flame height.

1. Select the Manual icon.
2. Move the slider up or down to adjust the flame height.

For instant adjustment, touch the buttons for High Fire, Low Fire, or Standby.

Thermostatic Mode

The room temperature is measured and then compared to the set temperature. The flame height automatically adjusts to achieve the set temperature.

1. Select the Thermostat icon.
2. Scroll to the desired room temperature setting and then tap the Set button.

An activated Thermostat Mode shows a blue icon and the set temperature.

Timer Mode

The Countdown Timer automatically turns the fire OFF after a set period of time.

1. Tap the Timer icon.
2. Scroll to the desired hour and minute to set the fire OFF time.
3. Tap the Start button to start the countdown timer.
4. To end the Countdown Timer, tap the “Timer” icon and press the “Cancel” button.

An activated Countdown Timer shows a blue icon and the remaining countdown time.

Program Mode

Save up to 8 programs to turn the fire ON and OFF at specific times and days.

1. Tap the Program icon.
2. Select the ON/OFF button to select the desired program (1 – 8).
3. Tap the desired Day button to select (M,T,W,T,F,S,S).
4. Tap the Time ON and Time OFF buttons to scroll to desired times.
5. Tap Set button to set desired times.
6. Tap Temperature ON and/or Temperature OFF button to scroll to desired temperatures.
7. Tap the Set” button to set desired temperatures.

An activated Program Mode shows a blue icon and ON displayed.

Eco Mode

Save energy while enjoying a changing, realistic flame picture.

1. Tap the Eco icon.
2. Select one of three saving options: Standard (10%), Good (25%), or Maximum (45%). The corresponding Eco efficiency percentage is displayed under the 180° arc.
3. Select one of three Active Flame Cycle time options: 15 min., 20 min., or 25 min.
4. Tap the Thermostat button to turn ON automatic Eco Mode.
5. Use the slider arc to set the desired room temperature.

A shorter time cycle results in a more active flame picture.

NOTE: In automatic Eco Mode the Eco-Savings percentage and Active Flame Cycle time correspond to hold the desired set temperature.

Fan Mode

Circulating fan has 4 speed levels from low (1) to high (4).

1. Tap the Fan icon.
2. Activate the fan with the ON/OFF button
3. Set the desired fan level from low (1) to high (4).
4. To switch off the fan, tap the ON/OFF button again.

Note: The fan can be operated independently of the gas fire control. When the fire is restarted, the fan automatically switches to the last level set.

Lighting/Dimmer Control

Light adjusts from 20% to 100%

1. Tap the Light icon.
2. Move the slider to increase or decrease the light intensity.
3. To switch off the light, tap the ON/OFF button or pull the slider all the way down.

Note: The light functions independently of the gas control. The light automatically switches to the last set level when the fire is restarted.

In-Home Setup

• Must have an internet connection.
• Must have wireless router, located close to the room with the fireplace. Be prepared to add a WiFi repeater if signal strength at the fireplace location is weak.
• Have your home WiFi password on hand.
• Ensure that your smartphone and or tablet device can run the Valor 10 App (see download options above). Download to device before installers arrive.
• Have 120v AC power available at the fireplace installation location to power V-module.

Mimimum System Requirements

• Supports Apple iOS 10.0 or higher and Android 10.0 or higher.
• App takes up 61 MB for Apple/iOS and 19 MB for Android.
• Does not work on PC or Mac computers.
• An internet connection is necessary for the app to control the fireplace(s).
• SSID Address (Home WiFi Network Name) & password are needed.
• Controlling smart device must use home WiFi network (can not be controlled from network outside of the home).
• Can control up to 8 gas fireplaces. Each fireplace requires a separate WiFi receiver.
